District Scout Camp 2026

This overnight camp will involve scouts learning Pioneering skills. Focusing on construction and bushcraft we'll have fun building catapults, flagpoles, and stretcher then using them in a wide game. 

Travel will be carpool from 1st Telarah Scout Hall

Depart: Friday 11th Sep at 1700

Return: Sunday 13th Sep at 1600 (subject to departure time from Millbrodale)

Uniform must be worn to and from the camp.

Cost and what is included

Cost: $10 (our contribution to Sat morning catering before the District Camp officially begins)

Food

• Please have dinner before carpool on Friday or have money for takeaway as there will be an opportunity to buy dinner on the way.
• Lunch on Sunday is not included in District camp catering so please bring some money for lunch on the carpool home or pack something to eat.
• Ensure you bring a 2L apple or orange juice bottle
• District camp is catered from Saturday breakfast through to Sunday Breakfast

  Collared shirts

  Warm clothes (it gets super cold in the evening and early morning at this location)
  Spare clothes in case you get wet
  Hiking boots/joggers (enclosed)

  Sleeping gear: hiking mat + warm sleeping bag + camp blanket
  Torch
  Mess kit
  garbage bags to store dirty/wet clothes

  Sunscreen + insect repellant

Tents will be share tents from Telarah.

This camp will be under direct supervision of both male and female leaders.
